Our Logo

Our logo says it all.

The baton symbolizes legacy.  We are, at once, recovering, defining, and establishing, our legacy. This is the legacy that we recover from past stories, the legacy that we define as we grow as a business, and the legacy that we establish as we produce our own stories.

Our tool is storytelling. Stories humanize through shared experience. Our narratives share overlooked, silenced, forgotten histories. We believe that creation is the supreme purpose and meaning of life. She clings to the reel as she runs the race – it’s her tool for changing the narrative and humanizing her experience of the world.

Before you are willing to tell your story you have to first believe it is worth telling. The afro represents self knowledge, self love and self acceptance. This is not limited to people with afro’s but this company is formed by one. The afro represents African people’s unique identity. Embracing it has symbolized acceptance of their natural hair texture. As a symbol of our core values, the afro underscores the perspective from which we approach our productions. We do not tell, American, black, or other “group” stories, we tell the stories of real people striving to honestly search for and represent themselves.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize” (1 Corinthians 9:24). Excellence is the chief value at Run On Productions – we are running for the prize. We value accurate information, innovative methods and technology, people who pursue their craft with the highest skill, and stories that will transform the way that people view the world and the landscape of the entertainment and performing arts industries.
