We believe that the purpose of theater is to accurately depict the experience of another reality.
For us, what distinguishes theater from other forms of storytelling is that, when creating a theatrical piece, we work to create a world that we then become a part of.
By doing this, by creating worlds from our perspective, we create places and spaces where we can exist in the way that we imagine ourselves.
Free, a stage play set in North Carolina from 1798 to 1884, focuses on the lives of two historic figures and prolific creators: George Moses Horton and Thomas Day.
